Dancing Queen

Friday night I went to a rock and roll bar where I met a Japanese Elvis. Coincidentally I was wearing my "ROCK AND ROLL QUEEN" sweatshirt which left an impression on Elvis, who also happened to be the owner. A few drinks later and Anna and I were acquainted with almost everyone in the bar, all of who were shorter than me. I became known as Miss Matrix because that is the only way to explain how to pronounce my name to Japanese people. The Beatles from Sendai are coming next Sunday so we may be making another appearance there.

In other news, I've been learning how to skateboard. Robbo and I hiked up Mount Shinobu yesterday and skated down. I am still intact and even have all my skin so I'd call it a success. Next I'll have to work on some tricks. I'm wondering if this is the type of thing you can add to your resume or not.

Yosakoi (dancing) has been going pretty well. We preform at our first festival at the end of May. Not sure how I feel about that yet. Guess it doesn't matter.
